Beth and Beauty’s FOTD Tutorial: All Products used!

Beth and Beauty's May 12th FOTD

Hi! Fellow Beauties! Today here on Beth and Beauty I am going to share with you what products I used to get the above look. I am going to share with you all the products all the way from cleansing to the face setting spray.  So let’s get started!

Beth and Beauty's May 12th FOTD Cleansing & Nurture Products

First thing I do is cleanse my face. On this morning I used the Shiseido Pureness Foaming Creamy Cleanser, then using a cotton round I wiped my face with the Lancome toner, applied my Valentia Even Glow Serum(let dry on face), applied my Kate Somerville Nourish daily moisturizer and then the last step of my cleansing & nurture routine was applying my L’Oreal Revitalift Eye Cream.

I let my moisturizer sink into my skin while I made my coffee and then I shared my blog post for the day. After my first cup of coffee, I applied my face makeup!

  1. I started of with putting a pea size amount of the Benefit POREfessional face primer on my middle finger tip, using my other middle finger I dabbed a little on it and then patted it into my biggest pores, which are around my nose, under eye cheek area, my chin and in between brows. Whatever is left on my finger I spread evenly over rest of my face.
  2. I then using a beauty blender applied the Rimmell Match Perfection foundation in the color, 102 Light Nude. I  let that have time to blend into my skin while I used the Anastasia Medium Brown Brow Powder Duo and Anastasia Brow Wiz brow pencil in Ash Blonde to fill in and define my brows.
  3. I applied my It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer under my eyes using my ring finger and beauty blender (it takes very little of this product). I do the Kim Kardashian triangle under eye triangle concealer application.
  4. After applying my eye makeup ( I will explain how below), I apply my Nars Light Reflecting White Pressed Setting powder over my face but not my under eyes. I do not set my under eye concealer with a powder, if I did it would exaggerate my fine lines . (I have not found one that didn’t)
  5. Using the Narsissist Cheek Palette’s bronzer in the the color Laguna I contoured my cheek bones, temples, top of forehead and jaw line. I then out of same palette used the blush color in Orgasm (I did not name this color). As you can see by the picture it is a peachy, coral color. I then top that blush off with the Cindy-Lou-Manizer blush (not sure why but to me it adds just the right amount of glow to my blush color).
  6. I finished off my face makeup with just a very small amount of the Mary-Lou-Manizer hightligher on the back part of the top of my cheekbones, down the center of my nose and a dab right above my cupids bow above my upper lip.

Now, let’s go back a little, as I mentioned above, I did my eye makeup before I used my finishing powder, bronzer, blushes and highlighter. I for myself like to do it this way because I find that my powder doesn’t make my face look cakey if I give my liquid foundation time to blend into my skin. To me, this is makeup, there are no die hard rules for anyone. Now, here is how I got my EOTD! (eye of the day):

  1. With my middle finger I applied MAC’s painterly (peachy colored eye primer) all over my eyelid up to the brow and on my lower eye lash line. This helps cover up any redness or veins you might have showing.
  2. With my middle finger I applied Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in the color Inked in Pink to my moving part of eyelid only. This gives my mineral eye shadow that I used something to grab onto, plus makes the color more vibrant. I will be doing a full review and swatches of all the Madison Street Beauty mineral eye shadows that I have in a future blog post.
  3. With a flat eye shadow brush I applied Madison Street Beauty’s (MSB) mineral eye shadow in the color Cherry Blossom all over the moving part of my eyelid.
  4. With the same flat eye shadow brush but flipped to other side, I applied a very light layer of the MSB’s color Rose Gold from the middle of my moving eyelid to the outer part of the eyelid over the Cherry Blossom(pink).
  5. With a fluffy crease brush I used the MSB’s color Biscuit(light matte brown) as a transition color and applied it in my crease and a little above using big windshield wiper motions.
  6. With a more defined crease brush I used the MSB’s color Eclair(medium matte brown) as my defined crease color and as my outer horizontal outer “V”.  I also used this color under my lower lashes.
  7. Using a small fluffy brush I used the MSB’s color Bermuda Beach (cream color) to blend out any harsh lines above my crease and below my brow.
  8. Using my middle finger I dabbed just a very little amount of the MSB’s color Rose Gold and popped a little of it on the middle of my moving eyelid only.
  9. Using a small flat eye shadow brush I applied the Wet-N-Wild eye shadow single in the color Sugar (white) right underneath my brow’s arches and on my eyes tear duct area. this brightens and enlarges the look of your eyes.
  10. Using the Avon Super Shock Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Blackout I tightlined my upper lash line and my lower water line.
  11. Using the Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Waterproof Mascara in Black I applied 2 coats on both upper and lower lashes.

I finished up this FOTD using the below pictured L’Oreal New Privee Collection Lipstick in the color 620 Julianne’s Nude. Then to set all in place, I used the Model in the Bottle Setting spray.
