Beth and Beauty’s Review of Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo

Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo Review_

Hi! Beauties! Cleopatra’s Choice was generous enough to send me this Adovia Mineral Skin Care Dead Sea Mud Shampoo with Dead Sea Minerals, Vitamin E and Chamomile for my honest opinion. First let me tell you a little about my hair. I have blonde color-treated hair that gets dry which in turn makes my scalp irritated and itch. Not such a good thing, when out in public an you have to scratch head. People may get the wrong idea…..LOL! Let me start by sharing with you their website’s description and then I will share with you my opinion and tell you where you can purchase this if you would like to.

  • with Dead Sea Mud, Olive Oil and Aloe Vera
  • Formulated with pure Dead Sea mud and natural moisturizers such as Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil and Aloe Vera.
  • Dead Sea Minerals present in the mud provide relief for a dry or irritated scalp and leave hair naturally moisturized, fuller and manageable.
  • Vitamin E strengthens the hair root and Chamomile leaves your hair soft and flexible.
  • Formula based on Dead Sea Mud brings relief from the symptoms of Seborrhea Dermatitis, Psoriasis and other scalp-related problems such as Dandruff.

Directions: Apply to the Scalp and massage gently for 2-3 minutes. Rinse, apply shampoo again and leave for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Here are the ingredients as listed on their website:

Demineralised Water (Aqua) & Dead Sea Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide Dea, Fragrance (Parfum), Glycol Stearate, Propylene Glycol & Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) Extract & Algae Extract & Papaya (Carica Papaya) Extract & Aloe Vera (Barbadensis) Gel, Sodium Chloride, Dead Sea Salt, Polyquaternium – 7, Wheat (Triticum Vulgare) Germ Oil, Grape (Vitis Vinifera) Seed Oil, Sweet Almond (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) Oil, Carrot (Daucus Carota) Seed Oil, Olive (Olea Europaea) Oil, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5), Citric Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit E), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

Now, for my opinion! When I first got this shampoo and seen that it was black, I was like calling my husband and saying, “Honey, I got this for you to try out!” Well, to my surprise, he tried it out for me. Wow his hair was so soft and smelled so good. He actually said his scalp tingled when he used it and his scalp felt good. My husband has always had a problem with dry scalp/dandruff. He so loves this shampoo. I tried it after that and I can say I love it as well. My scalp does not itch like it was when I was using my Redken for color-treated hair. I love my Redken, but now I am torn….LOL! I will admit my husband has got more benefit out of this shampoo than I have but I also like using it once in a while. I will be purchasing this soon since we are down to half a bottle.
