L’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Original Formula Review

L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Original Formula

Hi! Beauties! I know Beth and Beauty usually does not publish new posts on the weekends but I had to get this review out to my subscribers/readers. I showed this product on a recent haul post and before anyone ran out and bought it, I had to tell you my experience with it. Let’s just say I am so glad I only bought the small $6.99 size and not the over $20 dollar full size one. I would be returning this to Walgreens if I could find my receipt. Again, this is just my experience with it and it is the original formula . There is suppose to be an oil-free one out there but at the price point of over $20, I will just stick to my Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser ($6) for my everyday wear and my Benefit POREfessional for special occasions. First let me tell you what the packaging says about this product, then I will tell you my experience with the product.

By the packaging it is suppose to Instantly erase the look of:

  • Lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Pores

The Innovation of this Product:

  • Miraculous skin-transforming texture blends in seamlessly to create a perfectly smooth surface.
  • Opti-Blur Technology diffuses light on skin for a soft-focus blurring effect.

Formula Essentials:

  • Dermatologist tested
  • Non-greasy ( I beg to differ)
  • Non-comedogenic
  • Tested on sensitive skin
  • Fragrance-Free ( I will give them this one)

Application:

Apply as last step in your Skincare regimen, or wear alone on cleansed skin. For instant skin smoothing effect, squeeze a dime size and apply all over face. Or, squeeze a smaller amount for targeted application.

L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Original Formula Review

Okay, I will give them that it does not specifically say it can or should be used as a primer under your foundation but do you not apply your makeup after your skincare regimen. These directions must mean for the daytime because why would you care if your skin is blurred to go to bed. Well, anyway I tried this every way alone my skin felt like a grease ball with no visible reduction of pores nor lines that I could tell and under my makeup by the end of the day, let’s just say it was not a pretty sight. I had the worst case of “cake” face I have ever had. I could not wait to get my makeup off because it was just so greasy and uncomfortable. To make sure it was this product that was making my makeup cake up so bad, the second day I made sure I just used a very small amount of product but same results. I put same exact makeup on Saturday as I did the prior 2 days but instead of using this product, I used the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser since it is also a silicone based product. Quess what? My makeup did not cake nor did my face feel like a grease ball. Now, I want to make it clear that I have and still love most all of the L’Oreal products I have tried for the most part, but this product was just a total Nahhhh!! Product for me!!!  I do not like to give such a bad review on any product but this one I had to just warn anyone that might be thinking of trying this. I guess if you have extremely dry skin, this product might work for you. I have sensitive normal/combo skin and it did not work for me at all. If they sold the oil free one in the small travel size, I might would just try it to see if it would be different, but honestly I can not see paying $20 or more for a drug store product when I can either save around $15-$20 and get the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser or just put about $5-$10 more dollars with it and get a product I know works, the Benefit POREfessional.
