Lush’s Brazened Honey Fresh Face Mask

Lush's Brazened Honey Face mask

Hi! Beauties! Sometimes a girl has to play in the mud to get clean! As many of you know this last weekend was my birthday and my wonderful husband of 32 years took me away for a weekend get-a-way to Dallas, Texas. The main event for us to do while there was to visit the Dallas Galleria Mall. It turned out to be one of the best birthdays I have ever had! While in the mall I had to make my first time visit to a LUSH store. For anyone that may not know what this store carries, let me enlighten you. It is a fresh homemade cosmetics store. They carry handmade soaps, bath bombs, bath melts, shampoo, etc., I could go on for hours….LOL! I will be doing other articles sharing with you my first impressions and reviews on all the products I picked up. Warning!! This store is addictive! Today I have chosen to share with you my first impression and review on one of their many Homemade Fresh Face Mask.

The one I purchased is called Brazened Honey(60g, $6.95). This is as you can tell from my picture above a clay mask. It claims to revitalize tired skin with warming Ayurvedic herbs and spices. Has ground almonds to polish and moisturizing honey.  You must store these face mask pots in your fridge and they last for 3 weeks before they expire. Remember though these are fresh and homemade with all natural ingredients. You use this mask by taking out of the fridge and apply a generous layer over the face, avoiding the eyes. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, then wash off with warm water.  It comes in a little black pot as seen above and when you bring back 5 empty ones  to the store you get a fresh mask free. A lot of their products come in these black pots so the 5 empty containers does not have to be just the face mask pots.

I applied this mask to my face last night after I had cleansed my face. I gave you a peek above in my picture, so pretty, I know. All I can say after the mask had dried and I removed it as directed with warm water my face was as soft as a baby’s bottom…..for real, not exaggerating at all. Even my husband tried it out on his face after feeling my face..I know, right! It does smell very good. My only problem is I have bad allergies and the scent of it is a very pungent one so it aggravated my allergies a little but not enough that I won’t finish the product. Plus, the results was worth a little runny nose….LOL! I will for sure be going back to try more of these Fresh Face Mask. They are worth every penny of the $6.95.

Lush also has an online store and ships world wide. Their website is www.lush.com. You can look forward to more Lush product reviews. I know you didn’t think I left out of that store with just this one product…..LOL! I will also be visiting their website in between trips to Dallas, since Dallas is about 1 1/2 hours away from me.
