My Empties!!!!!! February 2014

Body & Hand Cleansers,Vitamins and Perfumes Samples Empties for February 2014

Hi! Beauties! Today we are going to be talking trash! Well empties that is!! If you don’t know or have never seen one of these type of blog posts, let me explain what they are. It is a blog post where I share what products I have used up within the last 1-2 months and give you a little mini review of the products. This does not mean I bought and used all these products within the last couple of months, it just means I finished the product(s) within the last couple of months or so. This is my first empties blog post, so some products mentioned may have been used up a little longer than 2 months. My goal is to do one of these blog posts at least every 2 or 3 months from now on.

Body Care Empties for February 2014

Body Care Empties Part 2 for February 2014

  1. I finished two of the Bath and Body Works foaming anti-bacterial hand soaps. I love the foaming ones better than the gel ones. As pictured above, I used up the Peach Bellini and Heirloom Pear ones. They smell exactly as the name implies. Yes, I would repurchase these. I love them.
  2. I also finished one of the the Bath and Body Works Shower gel in Japanese Cherry Blossom. This is one of my favorite scents from there. It has a sweet floral scent. Yes, I would repurchase.
  3. I also finished one of the Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar body lotion. It makes you smell like a freshly baked sugar cookie to me. Yes, I would repurchase. Can you tell I love Bath and Body Works. I never pay full price for their products. I always purchase what I need during one of their semi-annual sales.
  4. In the first picture above underneath the BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel is a Victoria’s Secrets Body Butters in Love Spell. It has a not so sweet but wonderful floral scent. It has cherry blossom, peach and white jasmine scents all combined. This was a gift to me by my lovely daughter but I would definitely purchase one for myself. I know Victoria’s Secret also has great sales on their bath and body products.
  5. The last two items pictured above is the Tree Hut Shea Body Scrub and the Tree Hut Shea Body Butter, both in coconut lime scent.  I found these at my local WalMart and I love the body scrub more than I do the body butter. Will I repurchase? Yes, I will repurchase the body scrub so I can have it on hand as a back up for my favorite body scrub from LUSH called Rub Rub.

Vitamins,Makeup Brush Cleanser,Eye Makeup Remover and Perfume Samples Empties for February 2014

  1. Pictured above is a my daily gummy Multi-Vitamin and B Complex, I take 4 of the Multi-Vitamins a day and 2 of the B Complex a day since my surgery. The Vitafusion is my favorite brand of them, so yes I will and have repurchased them.
  2. I finished my “The Masters” Brush Cleaner and Preserver. If you want to know what I use this for just click on the link. Yes, I would and have repurchased this product.
  3. I finished my L’Oreal Clean Artiste Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. This does exactly what it says it will do. This one in the green bottle is the only one I will purchase. The one in the pink bottle just doesn’t work as well. Yes, I would repurchase.
  4. The last 2 items shown above is the Hamsa perfume sample and the Marc Jacob’s Honey perfume sample. I love both of these perfumes. I just did a review on the Hamsa Perfume by Celine Leora and I have it on my wish list. I love the Marc Jacob’s Honey one also but I will only purchase the roller ball of this because I can only wear it if my allergies will let me and it is an expensive bottle of perfume. The 3.4 oz is $92.00, which makes the Hamsa’s price of $65 for the same amount of product not a bad price.

Face and Eye Care Empties for February 2014

  1. I sadly finished up my Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleFree24 Starter Kit. It came with the Extra Creamy Cleansing Foam (in the tube), a balancing softener lotion (toner)(tallest Shiseido bottle) and a day emulsion moisturizer. I absolutely loved this kit. For it to be a starter kit, it lasted me a long time, most especially the cleanser. Yes, I would repurchase the starter kit again. If the full size was not so expensive and I didn’t like to try new products so much, I would purchase the full size products.
  2. I also sadly finished my Michael Todd true organics Intensive Eye Treatment. I love this eye treatment and for the money I believe this is your best deal for an eye cream that hydrates and can be used day or night. Check it out by clicking on my Michael Todd link on (your right) side bar.
  3. I used up a sample of the LUSH 9 to 5 cleansing lotion. I love this product and have since purchased the full size. It removes even the toughest to remove makeup.
  4. I also used up a deluxe sample of the H20+ Face Oasis hydrating gel. It goes on your face smoothly and cools your face. No, I would not purchase full size of this product but I would like to try their Night Oasis Overnight Moisture Lock.
  5. I used up 2 samples from Sephora. One was the Ole Henriksen Eye Lifting Gel and the other was the Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream. Yes,I would consider buying the Ole Henriksen  Night Eye Lifting Gel, it goes on so smoothly and really is so cooling to your lower eye lids. No, I will not be purchasing the full size of the Caudalie night cream due to as much as I loved it $64 is just to high of a price for me to spend for a 1.3 oz tube.
  6. The last sample was a brand I had never heard of and I received it while walking down the aisle in the Dallas Galleria mall.  It is the OROGOLD Cosmetics 24K Moisturizing Day Cream. It was a wonderful moisturizer but I will not be purchasing it, since when I looked it up, I found it cost $128 for just 50 ml. I am not saying it is not worth it, but this girl’s pocketbook won’t allow her to spend this for a moisturizer.

Makeup: Face, Lips and Eye Products Empties for February 2014

Eye Product Empties for February 2014

  1. I did not use up the Sally Henson’s Lip Crayon pictured above because I was allergic to it. I will be giving this to one of my lovely nieces or sister.
  2. I did not use up the Jordana Fabuliner in Black because I did not like it at all. It was dry and hard to apply onto my eyelids. I may have just got a bad pen because I have heard so many people rave about it.
  3. I used up a travel size of Benefit’s They’re Real mascara and I have already repurchased another mini that is in my purse’s makeup bag. It replaced the above pictured L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara because it just got too old for me to keep using it.
  4. I could not finish the L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara due to an allergic reaction to it.
  5. Last is the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I love this stuff!! It is like a hair spray for your face. It is not sticky or anything and you can’t even feel it on your face but it will make your makeup last through anything. Yes, I will and have repurchased this product.
