Thrifty Thursday’s: My Weekly Thrifty Finds! Aussie, NYC etc.

Current Hair Regimen Products with Redken and Aussie

Hi! Beauties! Today I thought I would share with you my first article of what I am going to call “Thrifty Thursday’s”.  I want to start sharing this with you every Thursday. It is going to be what great bargains I have found during the previous week(s) and I will share with you my opinion on my finds, whether it be good or bad. What do you think? I have not seen anybody else doing this, so I thought I would give it a try. Above is a picture of my current hair regime. Month’s ago, I thought I could color my own hair and Oh! My! I was so wrong. By the time my great hair stylist finished fixing my mess, needless to say my hair had some damage. All my own fault!!!! Well about a month ago I found the Redken Color Extend shampoo and conditioner in a set at JC Penney’s for $15. Which is a great deal, I love the Redken brand while it is on the expensive side. I have found that you get what you pay for. It has made my hair color stay longer, has also helped with my hair damage and the shampoo lathers up like no other shampoo I have ever tried. The conditioner is good too, but with my damaged hair I needed to do a deep conditioning treatment at least once every 2 weeks.  So here comes the actual  first thrifty find for this article.

Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle Hair Conditioner

I found out about this product while watching some of my Beauty You Tubers that I follow on a regular basis. They all gave it glowing reviews and said it only cost $3.00. Yes, I said $3.00! I finally gave in a couple of weeks ago and found it at my local Walmart store for $2.97. I have now used it twice and Oh!My! It is a wonderful deep treatment. My hair is so soft and my hair does not have hardly any tangles after I use it. Since it is a deep conditioning treatment I plan on using it every other time I wash my hair. I will use the Redken conditioner the other times.  My hair is loving me right now……!!!!

NYC Mosaic Face Powder in All Over Bronze Glow

I know you didn’t think I went a whole week without buying some makeup……LOL! I found this NYC Mosaic Face Powder in the color All Over Bronze Glow at another one of my local Walmart stores. It was on a shelf that said $2.97 but when the cashier scanned it the cost showed up as $4.97. Does this happen to anyone else? Does this not make you angry? It does me, but that day I did not feel like waiting for a CSM and all that jazz , so I just went ahead and purchased it. So far I have used it a couple of times and it really does work well for me as a bronzer and to contour with, so not such a bad deal after all. The staying power is not bad at all. I am a cool tone and fair skinned gal. If you want a reference point, I am a NW20  for MAC foundations.
