Hello Beauty World! I hope you will join me on my journey to discover beauty/health tips for real women. I thought I would do this article a little different. I am going to be doing it in a question and answer format. I am asking myself the questions that I would ask someone, if I was going to follow them on their journeys.
Who am I?
My name is Beth Graves. I am a wife, mother of 2, grandmother of 5 beautiful grand babies, a Christian and a self-proclaimed beauty enthusiast. For my family and friends that have known me, that are reading this right now, I know you are probably in a state of shock, because I have always been known as a shy introvert type of person. Please keep reading and you all will learn more about me. Also you will hopefully understand why and will want to come along with me in this new adventure.
Hobbies?
I love communicating with my Facebook friends and with other social media, as well. I also watch fellow beauty enthusiasts’ you tube videos and will soon be making my own. My FAVORITE hobby has to be shopping to build my make-up/fashion collections!! I, of course, do this staying within my budget by shopping around for the best deals, price matching and using coupons.
Why am I taking this plunge into the blogging/you tube world?
Over the last 2 years, I have not only lost 120 pounds(how I did this will be in another article) I have also found I have a passion for make-up, skin care and fashion. Well I guess you could say my passion is for anything beauty related for a real woman; not this fantasy woman our society has created. I want to gain more self-confidence; and one of the most important things I have learned is that you don’t have to be perfect or younger to feel beautiful. I want to share with you the beauty/health tips I have learned from research and trial and error. I would also like to learn from you, my subscribers (fellow beauty enthusiasts), your beauty/health tips. I have also found you can obtain beauty products now on any budget! Our drug/department stores have a wide range of great beauty products that are of good quality. In addition, you can order almost any beauty/health product you want online; for some examples, there is Amazon, Sephora, Macy’s and, yes, even Wal-Mart; so for you that can’t go to the product, the product can come to you. Yes, I admit I love to splurge on a high-end product here and there, but what beauty enthusiast doesn’t…..LOL! Seriously, I have found there are great drugstore options out there.
What do I hope to accomplish with this blog?
- Give and obtain beauty/health/fashion tips
- Give reviews on both high end and drugstore products I am trying
- Share weight loss tips, along with recipes
- Share with you the great deals I find in stores and online
- My goal is to reach both the mature 40+ and younger subscribers, and to show you that anyone, no matter what age or budget, you can learn and love new beauty tricks, trends and tips. It is never too early, nor too late, to start!
