Urban Decay All Nighter Vs. Model in a Bottle

Urban Decay All Nighter Vs. Model in a Bottle

Hi! Beauties! Hope you are having a great Thursday! Today on Beth and Beauty there is a battle of the makeup setting sprays going down…..! If you have been living under a rock like I have been up until last year and don’t know about these products, they are like a hairspray for your face. Now, back to the battle! The famous Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray throws down with Model in a Bottle (Sensitive Skin Formula) Makeup Setting Spray. Which one is the best? That is why we are here, I am going to give you the low down on both these products and tell you which one I will repurchase (both of these were purchased by me). Let’s just start with the Model in a Bottle (Sensitive Skin Formula):

Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray the Sensitive Skin Formula

In this corner, we have the Model in a bottle that I purchased from Beauty.com. I don’t believe you can pick this up at any store. There are several online websites to purchase this product from. I heard about this product while watching you tube beauty videos. The product I seen came in a beautiful (Jenny in the Bottle) type of container. You can see above not only did they change packaging but they also added a sensitive formula. I do have sensitive skin so I chose this one. It comes in a 1.7 oz size for $22.  This is what the product claims: Set makeup in a flash with Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray Sensitive Skin. This lightweight, non-irritating formula helps keep your makeup application in place and soothes dry, irritated skin with botanical extracts of aloe and lavender. Well, let me tell you I love the smell of lavender but in no way did I smell any lavender in this product. I have to be honest and tell you that to me this product has an not so pleasant smell.  Thankfully the scent does go away fairly quickly. It does go on a little wet but when it dries it does set your makeup just like it claims to do, I am talking about East Texas hot and humid weather type of hold. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Now, in the other corner is the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting  Makeup Setting Spray by Skindinavia. I purchased this at my local Sephora. You can also purchase it online at Sephora.com or UrbanDecay.com. You can get it in a 1 oz travel size for $14 (which is what I have) or the full size 4oz bottle for $30. I also learned about this product while watching beauty youtube videos. Can you tell I like watching beauty youtube channels and read beauty blogs? This product claims to be a weightless setting spray that keeps makeup looking just-applied for up to 16 hours. This product is made without Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates. Unlike the Model in a Bottle, this setting spray does not really have a scent to me, if it does, it would be classified as a fresh scent. This sprays on you face in a mist and dries quickly. I have found that it also sets your makeup all day like it claims to do. If you would like to know the ingredients in this product, just click here.

The winner is……drumroll……….please………….the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is the winner. It won because of how it sprays on my face like a light mist and it did not have a bad smell to it. I find that it is also actually less expensive than the Model in a Bottle, for just $8 more you get 2.3 ounces more. I will say they are at a tie with the holding power. They both do set your face makeup very well.
